About this experience
Every distillery has a tasting room. Very few have a speakeasy hidden inside a historic sugar mill, and almost nobody gets in. This is your invitation.
Your VIP experience begins one-on-one with our distilling team: personalized tastings and a behind-the-scenes look at how we craft our small-batch spirits. Ask anything and go as deep into the craft as you like. Nothing here is scripted.
Then we take you through to the executive speakeasy, our private VIP-access-only lounge. Settle in for a full tasting flight including flagship Hawaii Mana Rum, our whiskey, gin and moonshine, capped with a handcrafted cocktail built by the people who distilled it.
Before you leave, ask about filling your own bottle to take home.
Seatings are small and run weekend afternoons only, so space is limited. All guests must be 21 or older with valid photo ID.

Itinerary and highlights
Step inside a working craft distillery in the historic Old Waialua Sugar Mill. Spend time one-on-one with our distillers seeing how our small-batch spirits are made, then move through to our private executive speakeasy for a full tasting flight and a handcrafted cocktail.
Meeting and pickup information
- Enter the Old Waialua Sugar Mill grounds and follow signs to Haleiwa Distilling Company. Come in through the tasting room and check in at the bar for the VIP Speakeasy. Please arrive 10 minutes early. All guests must present valid photo ID (21+).
